Jacob Kluger is based in San Antonio and represents Bautex Systems in the South Texas market. He joins Bautex with more than 15 years of sales experience in the construction industry, most recently with Supadoors, Inc. Kluger is eager to utilize his strategic sales experience to support Bautex.
What are you most excited about in your role?
Bautex is poised to make a huge impact in creating high performance buildings across the country. It is no secret that architects, engineers, and developers continue to search for cost effective ways to maximize energy efficiency, sound ratings, fire ratings, sustainability and longevity. Bautex meets those goals and then some with a simple-to-construct, continuously insulated concrete block. The concept really takes a half-century proven concept to the next level.
What is unique about your market?
South Texas is one of the fastest growing regions in the country for so many reasons. Expect to see a lot more bumper stickers proclaiming “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could!”
What makes you a great fit for Bautex?
Working with leading architecture firms across the nation has certainly allowed me to see upcoming national trends and perspectives. The Bautex team has clearly anticipated many of these trends and designed an easy-to-use building block system ideal for commercial and residential applications. I look forward to playing a small part in the success of this innovative company.
How are you involved in community and professional organizations?
I currently chair JNETSA — a young professional networking group in San Antonio. I also currently serve on the board of directors for the Jewish Federation of San Antonio. My previous involvements have been with the UTSA College of Business, TechBloc, and I have been published in Door and Hardware, a national magazine for the building industry, on STC (Sound Transmission Class) ratings, trends in hospitality and senior/assisted living projects, and LEED requirements.
