Chris Noone, Bautex Vice President of Sales and Business Development, has been hard at work building a team of experienced sales leaders to support company growth across Texas. He is excited to have well-rounded, knowledgeable professionals in place, and is looking to the future. We recently sat down with Chris to learn a bit more about him personally, and what he sees in store for the year ahead at Bautex.
What construction market trends are you seeing in Texas right now? How can Bautex address these?
It seems like across the state there is one common trend: a lack of skilled labor. This is where Bautex comes into play and can be summed up with two words: performance simplified. The Bautex Wall System does not require specialty trades for installation, however it is typically installed by Bautex-trained masons or concrete contractors. By using Bautex, masons and concrete contractors do not need as many people onsite, and we can also cut down on other trades needed to complete the project.
What is the most interesting question you've received about Bautex Block from architects and contractors?
Most questions revolve around the product and how the system works. During a meeting with an architectural firm in Houston someone asked if Bautex could keep up with high demand. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and patent-pending high speed process ensures we can produce product quickly for even the largest construction projects. In return, our team can educate the market and sell with confidence.
What are you most excited about in the next year for Bautex?
I am really excited about our team and what they will accomplish between now and next year. We have been fortunate to assemble one very talented sales team. Their abilities, along with the Bautex Wall System, will be very appealing to architects, structural engineers, general contractors and installers.
Tell us a bit about your life outside of Bautex.
I am currently coaching my son’s football team. I have not been part of the game since college. However, it is all coming back to me, and we are enjoying this time together. I also really enjoy attending industry-related events; I look forward to these as a great time to learn and network.
What is the best book you've read?
This has to be The Martian by Andy Weir. I have not watched the movie, but I could not put the book down.
