This month we are featuring a Builder Spotlight article and video on Jesse Gonzalez, Vice President with RGV Alliance Construction. Jesse began building with Bautex Systems in 2016 and his primary focus is on thermal moisture protection, concrete and masonry. When he was introduced to Bautex, he was impressed by the technology of Bautex which includes the Bautex Wall System, Air & Moisture Barrier and Stucco, and especially the fact that it can be completed by one vendor.
Once he saw how this system could save him time and money by utilizing fewer trades and a shortened schedule, he thought ‘this is a great system, so let’s give it a try!‘
Beginning in 2016, the first project he used Bautex with was a Credit Union project in South Texas, which turned out very well and was completed in one week. Due to the success, he then proceeded with additional projects.
The next project he completed was for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department in Corpus Christi. The TPW&D was in need of a fish hatching process building that would be able to withstand a caustic saltwater environment both inside and outside. Bautex was selected, and Jesse and his team completed the project quickly.
The latest project that he completed was three phases of a larger Isla Blanca project for the Cameron Country Parks & Recreation. Using the Bautex Wall System accelerated construction by RGV Alliance, allowing a single contractor to build the structural walls in one mobilization.
And he hasn’t stopped there. He continues to build with Bautex on current projects as well. We can’t wait to see how they turn out.
