Bautex Systems and Martini Brick Sales Team Up In Corpus Christi, Gulf Coast

Expand­ing its net­work on the Gulf Coast, Bau­tex Sys­tems today announced that Mar­ti­ni Brick Sales will sup­port sales and dis­tri­b­u­tion of the Bau­tex Block and the Bau­tex prod­ucts in the Cor­pus Christi area. Mar­ti­ni Brick will rep­re­sent Bau­tex prod­ucts to its cus­tomers design­ing and con­struct­ing build­ings for gov­ern­ment and com­mer­cial mar­kets, with empha­sis on K‑12, high­er edu­ca­tion, office, retail and hos­pi­tal­i­ty projects.

In addi­tion, Mar­ti­ni Brick will help mar­ket Bau­tex prod­ucts to res­i­den­tial archi­tects and cus­tom home­builders whose clients want the high­est stan­dards for ener­gy effi­cien­cy, sus­tain­abil­i­ty, dura­bil­i­ty and safe­ty from wind­storm and fire.

Based in San Mar­cos, Bau­tex Sys­tems designs and man­u­fac­tures a com­pos­ite insu­lat­ing con­crete form (ICF) known as the Bau­tex Block, a light­weight build­ing block made from beads of expand­ed poly­styrene blend­ed with a pro­pri­etary cement mix­ture. It is the foun­da­tion of the Bau­tex Wall Sys­tem, which meets or exceeds safe­ty stan­dards for dura­bil­i­ty and pro­tec­tion from wind­storm and fire, while also pro­vid­ing com­mer­cial and res­i­den­tial build­ings with supe­ri­or insu­la­tion and ener­gy effi­cien­cy.

Cor­pus Christi is a new mar­ket for Bau­tex, which launched its oper­a­tions in Cen­tral Texas in 2013 and entered the Hous­ton mar­ket the same year. In 2013, the Bau­tex Wall Sys­tem was select­ed for two projects at Sea Scout Base Galve­ston on Galve­ston Island. Archi­tects select­ed Bau­tex prod­ucts in order to ele­vate an exist­ing build­ing 13 feet to get it out of the hur­ri­cane flood surge zone. In a sec­ond instal­la­tion, the Bau­tex Wall Sys­tem formed exte­ri­or and inte­ri­or walls for a new, five-sto­ry dor­mi­to­ry.
