New Architectural Sales Reps Reinforce Bautex Team

The building landscape across Texas is rapidly changing, with markets demanding more efficient, high performing construction products.  To meet these needs, Bautex is growing its sales team with experienced leaders who understand their unique markets, the companies and people within them, and how Bautex can ultimately simplify the building process.

Gretchen Kliafas and Amy Salmeron now lead the East Texas region, including Houston.  Jacob Kluger manages South Texas accounts.

“We’ve got a well-rounded, energetic team poised to listen and learn about their markets’ needs and help walk customers through the decision-making process,” said Chris Noone, Bautex Vice President of Sales and Business Development.  “Our sales team not only has extensive industry knowledge, but passion and drive to help improve how buildings are constructed in Texas.”

Each Texas market is unique, but the sales team leaders share enthusiasm about the benefits the Bautex Wall System can bring to cities across the state.

East Texas/Houston: Gretchen Kliafas
Kliafas notes the Houston area’s susceptibility to hurricanes, and the importance of Bautex Block windstorm ratings.

“It’s a game changer for Houston. I’m excited that our product can help improve building performance across many areas – life safety, energy efficiency and durability -- while being a fairly simple product to design and construct,” said Kliafas.

The sheer size of the East Texas market, nearly 630 square miles, marks opportunity to educate a wide array of designers and builders looking for simpler building envelope solutions both inside the city and outlying areas.

“The sparse zoning codes inside Houston city limits means a need for quieter, more energy efficient buildings, and Bautex Block offers a simplified solution for this issue,” said Kliafas.

South Texas: Jacob Kluger
Kluger is based in San Antonio and leads South Texas sales for Bautex. He is excited about the potential for Bautex in such a fast-growing region of the country.

“It is no secret that architects, engineers, and developers continue to search for cost effective ways to maximize energy efficiency, sound and fire ratings, sustainability, and longevity,” Kluger said. “Bautex meets those goals and then some with an easy-to-construct continuously insulated concrete block.  The concept really takes a half-century proven concept to the next level.”
